Irrigation Design Assistant, or as we like to call it, IDA, is a irrigation design software program that was developed by an irrigator for irrigators. Our goal is to assist the irrigator in creating the most water and cost efficient irrigation design possible. By mixing the irrigator's talent and our software we are able to be better stewards of a scarce natural resource called water.

About Us....

Irrigation Design Assistant was developed by an irrigator for irrigators. The owner, a Texas Licensed Irrigator, developed the programs after spending decades tryng to find computer solutions to assist in the irrigation design process. He was not trying to find another CAD program, but rather a program that would help determine optimum head spacing, micro-climates, backflow selection, material take off, ET-Based Scheduling, Precipitation Rate calculations, hydraulics calculations, Velocity, meter flows, alternative water sources, elevation issues, and many more irrigation related functions. He could not find an all encompassing program, so he built for his own use. It worked so well, he now makes it availble to other irrigators.

IDA , now has a new sister! Meet ISA .....Irrigation Scheduling Assstant. This program provides a "Watering Window" format , Drought Management funcitions with three totally independant stages of water restrictions based on different micro climates. The scheduling program can address multiple points of connection, multiple controllers, and can work in "TIME", "GALLONS", or a combination of both.
